Installing the Adapter

Replace the computer cover.

Attach the network cable. The adapter provides three connec-

tors for you to connect RJ45, AUI, or BNC to your Ethernet net-

work.

Turn the computer power on.

Run the Setup program to configure the adapter. Make sure that

the I/O address, memory address, and the interrupt line do not

conflict with other add-on cards.

Connecting to the RJ45 Connector

To use 10BASE-T (twisted-pair) cabling:

Plug in the network cable’s RJ45 connector into the RJ45 socket.

Plug the other end into the 10BASE-T network hub or wall

socket.

Connecting to the BNC Connector

To use 10BASE-2 (thin coaxial) cabling:

Attach a T-connector to the BNC connector on the adapter.
