FriendlyShare will install but will not run. If you do not upgrade the memory in your computer and attempt to run

FriendlyShare the following screen will appear.

Step 5:

Click on the “Quit” button. Reboot the server to activate the FriendlyShare software.

Step 6:

Double-click on your hard drive icon, and open the FriendlyShare Folder.

Step 7:

Click on FriendlyShare Manager to open the program. The “Setup Conﬁguration” screen will appear.

In the Setup Conﬁguration, you must enter preferences or values in each of the following areas:

1. In the “How do you connect to the Internet” section,

Select the appropriate connection for your system.

If you are connecting through a dial up connection select the “Through Dial-up Networking” radio

button and then click the “Remote Access Setup” button and conﬁgure as described below.

2. In the “Options” section,

If you want to automatically enable FriendlyShare each time the computer is started check the “Auto

start Service” box.

This feature cannot be used with America Online (AOL). AOL must be manually launched

before using FriendlyShare.]
