Cable Connections to Other Devices

Connecting a

Management Station to

the Hub

To connect an AsantéView Management Station to a hub using

one of the AMS Link connectors:

Connect one end of the AMS Link Extender to a PC or

Macintosh and the other end to an AMS Link connec-

tor port. Figure 5 shows how to make this connection.

Set DIP switches on the hub as shown in Figure 5.

Reset the hub.
